The Simmtronics XPad X1010 price has been set at Rs. 8,499, as we witness the launch of another 10-inch slab in the market. The device may not be fit for those on a look out for high-end slates with top-of-the-line features. Instead, it could be considered as an tablet with entry-level specifications offered at an affordable retail value.
With the TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display, users should be able to view visuals at a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels. Apart from being optimized for the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the tablet is driven by a 1.2GHz CortexA8 processor which in turn tags along a dual Mali-400 GPU.
The company will be selling it in two variants, depending on its storage configurations. Although various e-retailers have put up the 8GB model on sale, the tablet with a flash memory of 16GB hasn’t struck any outlet yet.
