Simmtronics Xpad Turbo tablet lets you place voice calls at Rs 7,999

Out now in India is the Simmtronics Xpad Turbo Android tablet which offers voice calling facility through its dual SIM card slots. This is supposed to be the official launch of the product, but it has so happened that the tablet had already been put on sale by Snapdeal in December.

Although its official price has been listed as Rs 7,999, e-retailers out there are revealing its MRP to be Rs 8,999. Nonetheless, their discounts are still bringing the cost to around the same value. While Snapdeal is selling it at Rs 8,056, Flipkart is offering the Simmtronics Xpad Turbo at an even lower rate of Rs 7,799.

The tablet comes equipped with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform, and it showcases its visuals on a 7-inch display offering a maximum resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Dual core processing power is onboard the Simmtronics Xpad Turbo, with the CPUs clocked at 1.2GHz. The chipset gains support from a Mali 400MP GPU and 512MB worth of RAM.

This dual SIM (2G + 3G) voice calling tablet features 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable till up to 32GB through its microSD card slot. A 2MP main camera and a VGA front-facing camera also form part of its offerings, aside from a 2800mAh battery.
