The Scottrade Mobile app for enabling stock market research and trading for investors through their mobile phones has released. It provides real-time research, news and analyst views for those in the trade industry who are users of Android, BlackBerry and the iPhone.
This application can monitor investments, research for opportunities, come up with investment ideas and conduct trades like stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Developed by an online investing firm of the same name, the app is enabled to perform detailed earnings research with charts on quarterly earnings and predicted estimates from Reuters Multex database. It also gauges potential investments with Standard & Poor’s ratings and commentary as well as keep users informed about insider transactions with built-in content which supposedly provides faster access to data.

The app provides charting functionalities, pre-market and after-hours trading along with real-time streaming quotes and watch lists. It also displays the transaction history and important statistics and profiles of public companies. This mobile app is an extension of the company’s mobile investment trading site, m.scottrade.com, which was launched in 2009.
The Scottrade Mobile app is available for Android, BlackBerry and iPhone devices and can be downloaded for free through their respective app stores.
