Users who wish to lay their hands on a reliable charging solution can now consider this new offering from Sanyo. The company has introduced its KBC-L2 rechargeable battery pack ‘eneloop mobile booster’ which provides instant back-up power for mobile phones.

Drenched in an alluring white shade, the mobile booster can be seamlessly charged in approx. 7 hours from AC power and around 14 hours using USB power. This new solution lends support to the iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, as well as Blackberry Bold and Curve. The newest entrant boasts of its capability to function as auxiliary power when the handset’s battery is totally discharged.

“We’ve all become accustomed to carrying some sort of mobile device with us whether it’s a tablet, smart phone, or a music device. Now we can use them more confidently knowing we have portable, convenient power for those devices,” remarked Tom Van Voy, General Manager of the Digital Solutions Division for Sanyo North America. “The Sanyo mobile booster is easy to use and it’s portable enough to take with you anywhere.”

Offering about 5000mAh of power on a single full charge, the KBC-L2 is based on the Sanyo’s Lithium-ion battery technology and can be charged seamlessly with the packed in AC power adapter or the USB power cable. The unit houses two USB ports which enable owners to simultaneously charge two devices with ease.

The eneloop mobile booster is now up for grabs for $80.
