Samsung Trender handset announced via Sprint

Samsung Trender Handset Earlier, Samsung made news headlines when Verizon Wireless released its Galaxy Tab 1.1 for pre-order. The company has now revealed details of its Samsung Trender handset which will hit market shelves through Sprint.

Crafted with recyclable materials, the device comes along with a full touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keypad. Drenched in vivacious shades of sapphire and amethyst, this new Samsung phone leverages the connectivity experience with threaded text messaging, picture messaging, corporate and personal email and quick shortcuts to popular social networking applications such as Facebook and Twitter. Users can capture images using the integrated 1.3 megapixel camera.

Other features include expandable memory up to 32GB and Sprint Family Locator. Adorned by a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, the device is driven by a Qualcomm QSC6055 processor. It offers 128MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM and 46MB of total download capacity. Powered by a standard Li-ion 1000mAh battery, the phone renders about five hours of continuous talktime.

As of now, the pricing and availability details for the Samsung Trender handset are not yet released.
