Expanding the wide range of touchscreen phones in India, Samsung has unveiled three new phones namely the Samsung Star (S5233), Star 3G (S5603) and Samsung Beat DJ in the Indian market. These phones are customized to cater to the needs of users who need a full touchscreen handsets at an affordable price.
The Samsung Star and Samsung Star 3G adorns a slim design and bundles up several features and functions. Both the phones feature the Samsung’s TouchWiz User Interface along with Mobile Widgets which lets users enjoy their mobile content easily and intuitively. In addition to this, these phones incorporate a unique Gesture Control feature which will allow users to give gesture commands in order to run an application or unlock the touch screen.
The Samsung Star phone sports a 7.63cm WQVGA full touchscreen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera. The Photo Contact feature enables a user to call a contact by simply touching an appointed image. Additionally, the Samsung Star packs in various other features such as Shazam’s Find Music service, accelerometer, Google search, Google Maps, Gmail, online widgets, virtual QWERTY keyboard, 50MB internal memory and expansion supported upto 8GB. It is now available for Rs 11,100.
Sporting a slim and compact design, the Samsung Star 3G features a QVGA full touchscreen display. This 3G enabled phone includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, 80MB internal memory and supports expansion upto 8GB. The Samsung Star 3G phone carries a price tag of Rs 14,499.

The latest mobile phone all set to entice music lovers in India is the Samsung BeatDJ. Equipped with Bang & Olufsen audio technology, this phone sports a 7.1cm AMOLED full touchscreen display. The integration of Beat DJ application and DISC UI will allow you to be a DJ at your party. It lets users add pre-loaded voice samples and sound effects to the songs and record them as well.
Besides, it comes with real stereo speakers powered by B&O’s ICEpower amplifier which will enrich a user’s music listening experience on mobile phones. The Beat DJ features a 3 megapixel camera and it bundles up 50MB on board memory and supports expansion upto 8GB. The Samsung BeatDJ phone is priced at Rs 18,990.
