Back in May, we reported that stylish mobile aficionados can get their hands on the new compact messaging phone dubbed as the Samsung Seek. Now we see one of Sprint’s prepaid brands bringing its $50 Monthly Unlimited Plan to a new mobile device. Boost Mobile takes the covers off its first touchscreen device with a slide-out QWERTY keypad christened as Samsung Seek.

The sleek device provides users with easy access to popular social networking sites and multiple messaging options. Packed with a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display, the device boasts of a music player, 1.3MP camera, stereo Bluetooth, Voice mail, call waiting, caller ID, call forwarding and speakerphone with voice recognition.

“Boost Mobile continues to bring its customers high-quality, versatile phones that don’t break the bank,” said Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer, Boost Mobile. “Combining the stunning features of the Seek with the $50 Monthly Unlimited plan makes this pairing the perfect option for heavy-texting, feature-craving wireless users on a tight budget.”

The GPS-enabled device from Samsung provides users with the ability to instantly message over AIM, Yahoo! and Windows Live Messenger. The can also access e-mails and Internet through MSN, Yahoo! and Gmail among others. It has the ability to support microSD card of up to 32GB for storing loads of pictures and music.

Samsung Seek is expected to land onto the Boost Mobile website on August 25, 2010 tagged with a price of $149.99. The sleek handset will stride into Sprint stores by next month and Target in October.
