The previously announced Samsung Omnia M will be shipping via Phones 4u in the UK on August 1. This will make the device exclusive to the retailer for nearly 2 months before any other sales channel enters the scene.

For a quick reminder, the Samsung device flaunts a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen and packs a 1GHz chipset under the hood. The embedded 5MP snapper should lend some photography joy, while clicked images can be conveniently shared to social networks. It tags along some Microsoft services like Zune, Bing, and Xbox to facilitate multimedia, search and gaming experiences.

Scott Hooton, Chief Commercial Officer at Phones 4u, remarked, “We are delighted to exclusively offer the Samsung Omnia M, Samsung’s latest handset running Windows Phone 7.5, two months before it will be available via any other UK retailer. Our track record of launching Samsung devices and Windows Phones is incredibly strong and our dedicated Samsung zones in our Oxford Street and Westfield London stores provide the ultimate destination for anyone wanting to buy this Samsung device with Windows Phone. Our retail team is extensively trained on, and passionate about all Samsung products.”

Needless to mention, it boasts of tools like Samsung ChatOn, Music Hub, Photo Studio and more. The integrated Windows Live SkyDrive renders 25GB free cloud storage for accessing and sharing content, while on the move. The entire show is powered by Windows Phone 7.5.

The Samsung Omnia M price is marked at £20.50 per month rental on a 24- to 26-month contract with no upfront cost. The unlocked version will set interested buyers back by £289.95.
