Samsung Metro 3G People keen on purchasing a budget-friendly phone may want to take a look at this one. Samsung has declared the release of the modest and inexpensive handset, Metro 3G, in India, reports Samsung Hub.

The Samsung Metro 3G is the fifth mobile phone in the Metro range but is claimed to be the first to encompass 3G. This 11.9mm thick piece delivers effortless access to roughly 9 social networking sites namely Facebook, YouTube, Picasa and many more. Moreover, the phone features an IM client that is compatible with Gtalk, AIM etc. The mobile phone is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera which comes with attributes like Smile Shot and Autofocus.

The handset sports a 2.2 inch QVGA display and includes Bluetooth 2.1, Stereo FM radio with RDS and a microSD card slot. The device supports around 9 regional languages. Encompassing GPRS support, the phone also bundles in a video editor and a music player.

Samsung Metro 3G carries a price tag of Rs. 8,250 in India.
