Though the recent days have seen many high-end phones from Samsung, looks like the Korean vendor is paying equal attention to its low-end mobile market too. A recent announcement by Samsung reveals a new and stylish clamshell handset dubbed, the Samsung GT-S3600.
A very simple phone, the GT-S3600 has been designed solely for those who don’t want to spend that extra penny on a communication device. It comes with a GSM/EDGE connectivity, 1.3 megapixel camera, FM Radio with recording capability and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR connectivity. With recording and play back capabilities for MPEG4 and H.263 video formats, the GT-S3600 also supports direct photo printing via Bluetooth.
The highlight of the phone is supposedly a Mobile Tracker application that will make sure your confidential data remains intact in case the phone is lost or stolen. In addition to these features, the phone apparently boasts of an emergency signal which is something similar to an audible alarm.
Bundled with some simple components to make it affordable, there’s no official word on the price and release date of this flip phone. However the Samsung GT-S3600 is expected to mark its debut in the Russian market.
