Sprint and Samsung have announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Instinct S30 phone. This new phone offers an improved web experience and enhanced open development capabilities compared to its predecessor, Samsung Instinct.

Sporting a thin streamlined design, the new Samsung Instinct S30 offers full touchscreen functionality with localized haptic feedback. This provides a gentle vibration when you use the virtual QWERTY keypad. The phone also offers quick access to corporate emails, contacts, calendar and IBM Lotus Domino accounts.

The Samsung S30 features a Speech to Action button that uses voice activation for functions such as call, picture, text, movies, traffic, sports, news and search. Speech to Action effortlessly integrates with Sprint Navigation to provide audio and visual turn-by-turn driving directions, one click traffic rerouting and over 10 million local listings.

With the Visual Voicemail feature, you can listen to messages according to your preference and manage them with a simple tap on the screen. You can also access Sprint TV and Sprint Music Store to watch television shows and listen to music while on the go. Moreover, the phone comes preloaded with popular games like Guitar Hero World tour and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader.

The Instinct S30 bundles up various other features like MP3 player, 2.0 megapixel camera, Opera Mini 4.2, microSD card support, video recording and 1000mAh battery.

The Instinct S30 will be available from April 19 for $129.99 with a two year service contract and after $100 mail in rebate.
