The upcoming mid-range Android smartphone, the Verizon Samsung Illusion has just given tech world another glimpse of its specifications that made its way to the web yesterday. This is the second time that information regarding the Samsung device has leaked. The first leak had occurred two months ago in September.

Android Central managed to grab a quick screenshot of the Verizon Wireless Infocenter page that listed the specs of the forthcoming handset. Since the specs leak, the page seems to have been removed and is nowhere to be seen on the carrier’s site. The entry level smartphone appears to be a smaller version of the Nexus S and measures 114.4mm x 59.9mm x 11.7mm.

According to the leaked specs sheet, the Illusion is powered by a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird CPU and is a lightweight device tipping the scale at 120g. It is integrated with 512MB RAM and features 2GB internal memory that can be expanded to add another 2GB via the microSD card slot. This handset supposedly operates on a 1500mAh Li-ion battery and is embedded with a 3MP camera.

The phone reportedly runs on Android 2.3 or Gingerbread and lends support to Adobe Flash player. It is said to be incorporated with a 3.5-inch TFT HVGA 480 x 320p resolution touchscreen display. The specifications sheet which broke cover also states that its users would gain access to the millions of apps at the Android Market, like we couldn’t guess.

The Verizon Samsung Illusion appears to be quite good for an entry level smartphone and although rumors suggest that it is set to arrive later this month, there is no official statement about its price or availability date.
