Apparently, an unknown Samsung handset has been discovered on a WiFi Alliance website. IntoMobile reports that this phone has been marked as GT-i5700 and there is speculation that this phone could be the Samsung Galaxy Lite. The original Galaxy was marked as i7500.
This smartphone will definitely possess WiFi as it has received WiFi certification. This gives rise to questions such as which feature will be removed to make it ‘Lite.’ This new version of the Android smartphone could arrive without 3G, or possess a camera with less megapixels, or it could get rid of on-board storage memory, or it could have reduced battery capacity to warranty its ‘Lite’ tag. It is not known whether this is going to run on Android but most probably it will operate on that OS.
