The latest tablet making its debut in India is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 730. The trim device possessing a slimness of 8.6mm operates on the Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS and features support for Adobe Flash Player.

Powered by the Nvidia Tegra 1GHz dual core processor, the Galaxy Tab 730 employs the TouchWiz interface and comes embedded with an 8.9-inch touchscreen display. The Mini Apps Tray functionality allows often used features like task manager, calendar and music player to continue working while other major applications are being employed by users so as to offer a wider and more flexible multitasking experience.

Sporting a 3MP primary snapper that lets users shoot videos in 720p HD and a 2MP secondary camera, the Samsung device offers support for Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth 3.0 and HSPA+ (21Mbps) connectivity options. For keeping boredom at bay, it has been preinstalled with entertainment options like Social Hub, Readers Hub and Mobile TV. Additionally, the tablet also possesses My Reader which gives consumers access to 17 Indian newspapers and magazines, besides more than 30,000 Indian language books.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 price reads Rs. 34,610 and is now available at leading Samsung retail outlets in India.
