The Samsung Galaxy S5 has finally arrived in India and as we had reported yesterday, the price will be pegged at an amount falling between Rs 51,000 and Rs 53,000. The device will be up for pre-order later this week and will arrive at stores in the second week of April itself.

The Galaxy S5 brings a set of new features and outdoorsy people will especially like its ability to withstand water as well as dust. Its entire front side is dominated by a 5.1-inch touchscreen rendering visuals in 1080p resolution and a 2MP webcam keeps it company. On the flip side you will find a 16MP snapper, complete with the ability to capture good quality movies as well as images.

On the performance front too, the device takes the cake as its internal working is taken care of by an octa core processor sprinting at 1.9GHz. There’s 2GB of RAM within the confines of the phone and it offers either 16GB or 32GB onboard memory which is expandable by up to 128GB using a microSD card. The responsibility of keeping it charged up for an entire day has been assigned to a 2800mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be up for pre-order on March 29 and it is slated to start shipping from April 11 in India.
