The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini release date in India has been set for July 18, and the compact device has even been made available for pre-order at the previously revealed price of Rs 27,990. This new Samsung handset from its much popular range of Android devices was recently launched here alongside its other cousin, the Zoom, which is still to arrive on any retail listings.
The smartphone is a small version of the flagship handset from the South Korean giant, and its pre-orders are now live on the company’s official eStore as well as Flipkart and Infibeam. Both its black and white shades will be sold in the country.
Coming to the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, it can be noted that a 4.27-inch Super AMOLED+ capacitive touchscreen display has been placed on its front surface by its maker. This screen garners a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Its camera setup includes an 8MP rear snapper with 1080p video recording capabilities and 1.9MP front-facing lens.
The handset features dimensions of 61.3mm x 124.6mm x 8.94mm and a weight of 108 grams. The latest version of the Android Jelly Bean OS has been infused into it, alongside other software traits like S Health, S Translate, S Travel and more. Equipped with a dual core processor ticking at 1.7GHz, it features an Adreno 305 GPU as well as 1.5GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S4 mini has been brought to India in its 8GB form, and as mentioned above, it can be booked now by paying its full price of Rs 27,990.
