Less than a week after the next Galaxy phone was unveiled, speculations about the Samsung Galaxy S III India release date have started doing the rounds on the web. Apparently, the device will be arriving in the country next month.
According to NDTV Gadgets, the phone is expected to start shipping in India during the first week of June, and the website also seems to have the pricing details. But the Korean manufacturer is yet to verify these speculations. It will be made available in Europe towards the end of this month.
The Galaxy handset acquires its multitasking properties from the quad core Samsung Exynos Quad processor running at a speed of 1.5GHz. It binges on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, which brings a number of features like an intuitive user interface, Face Unlock and NFC certification. Some other attributes of the device include S Beam, S Voice, Smart alert and Smart stay and many more.
A 4.8-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen dominates the front panel of this third generation Galaxy S smartphone, while its back side is dotted by an 8MP camera. The advanced sharing properties of the phone let user share images with friends directly from the gallery or the camera. A front-facing 1.9MP webcam has been provided too.
Although it is still not confirmed, the Samsung Galaxy S III India release date could be in the first week of June and the price is said to be around Rs. 38,000.
