After releasing in almost all regions across the world, the Samsung Galaxy S II is soon to arrive in the US as illustrated by its new video teaser. The latest YouTube video depicts the smartphone to be a hit in most continents and without giving away the official date, announces the company’s intentions to launch it in a big way in North America.

A few months ago the slim 8.49mm smartphone had debuted in most of the nations. Running on Android Gingerbread, the handset is capable of capturing 1080p full HD recording and supporting NFC. It embeds a 4.3-inch super AMOLED Plus display made of Gorilla glass and an 8MP auto focus front-facing camera with LED flash.

This GPS and Java enabled device comes with SNS integration, digital compass and support for Adobe Flash 10.1. It is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and pre loaded with features such as the Document editor, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk and Picasa.

A closer look at the teaser reveals that the American version of the Galaxy S II is slightly different. During the entire tenure of the video we are shown the smartphone to have only a single home button with a huge display. That is the model which has been released the world over. However while announcing its American arrival the device looks different with rounder edges and four buttons instead of one.

Details regarding its exact launch date, price and availability in the US have not been revealed.
