After the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone being available for pre-order via LetsBuy, Vodafone seems to have paved its path too. Yes, this latest Galaxy entrant has been launched in India via Vodafone. In vogue and keeping up with the glamour industry, Samsung appears to have followed the trend of ‘size zero’ with this handset.
The device bears a rather slender profile at just 8.49mm and weighs 116g. It functions on Android 2.3 and doesn’t appear to compromise on battery performance. The handset incorporates a 1.2GHz dual-core application processor delivering features like web browsing, instantly responsive 3D user interface on the large screen and more. It supports 4G (HSPA+ 21Mbps) speeds while permitting seamless multitasking and switching between applications quickly. The handset incorporates Bluetooth 3.0+HS and Wi-Fi support.

The Samsung Galaxy S II is priced at Rs. 32,890 in India and will be available at Vodafone stores. Consumers can also pre-book the device online for Rs 1,000. The handset will be available at the Vodafone channel from June 3, 2011 and users can acquire 1GB of 3G data download free until 6 months. They can also look forward to the device being available from Samsung Smartphone stores starting June 9, 2011 onwards.
