The upcoming snowy winter season of Christmas may have inspired this new version of the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE smartphone which has now apparently been launched in white. According to oled-display.net, Samsung decided to dip the handset in a white hue to make it more appealing for the female fans and younger generation.

Coated in ceramic white, the smartphone appears to be quite clean and elegant. It was released in October this year dressed in black and went by the name of the Samsung AT&T Galaxy S II Skyrocket. The mobile device was specially named so for U.S. markets while internationally, it was known as the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE.

A month after its launch, the Samsung handset was re-released in a white avatar and this version started retailing just a week ago. Now that the worldwide model of the Galaxy S II LTE also sports an ivory hue, female tech enthusiasts and younger users around the globe can experience its classy feel as well.

Samsung seems to love painting its devices in white as just last month the non LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy S II by T-Mobile had also made its debut in the pristine clean shade. This LTE smartphone boasts of almost all the same specifications of its black counterpart. It comes equipped with a 4.5-inch, 480 x 800p Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen made from Corning Gorilla glass.

Although the exact details regarding the price and availability of the white Samsung Galaxy S II LTE have not yet been revealed, the cost is most likely to be the same as its black counterpart.
