Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 launched for Rs 10,990, brings content in 10 Indian languages

The Samsung Galaxy Duos 2 was unveiled through the company’s eStore in India, but no official announcement was made. So Samsung has made up for it by proclaiming that the handset has arrived in India and that too with content in as many as 10 local languages including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada and Assamese.

A number of apps like Gmail, Facebook, ChatOn, Newshunt have been pre-loaded on the Galaxy S Duos 2 and customers can view content on them in any of the aforementioned languages. The 3G-enabled device that plays successor to the S Duos, accommodates a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen on he front side, while the rear panel plays host to a 5MP camera that has the ability to record videos.

When it comes to multitasking, the device should be capable of supporting more than a couple of applications, thanks to a dual core processor that resides within the handset and sprints at a maximum speed of 1.2GHz. 768MB of RAM has been deployed in it for maintaining smooth multitasking.

The intuitive interface of the phone comes from the Android Jelly Bean OS and you get 4GB of memory for hoarding your digital content. It can be increased further by inserting a microSD card in the dedicated slot. It features two SIM slot and boasts of Dual SIM Always on feature that keeps both numbers active simultaneously. The Wi-Fi-enabled gadget comes drenched in two shades and utilizes a 1500mAh battery too.

The Samsung Galaxy Duos 2 is now available in India for a price of just under Rs 10,990.
