Probably taking fans aback, the Samsung Galaxy Note T-Mobile has been reportedly canceled not long after it was launched by the carrier. And the one to blame is none other than the upcoming Note 2 that plays its proud successor.

The original Note smartphone-tablet hybrid was launched almost a year back. The service provider had been playing around with its release date for quite some time. Initially a July availability was chalked out, but it was not put into effect.

The handset finally commenced shipping just this month and very soon we get this piece of news. However, it seems justifiable to an extent given the fact that the Note 2 will possibly show up at the IFA next week. So it makes sense to stock up on the fresh cookie instead of something that has already traveled places.

Android Police has received a confirmation from a trusted source about T-Mobile planning to put the device on End of Life (EOL). Though we cannot pin down exactly on how things will turn out for the carrier, the news could be disheartening to loyalists.

As far as we can see, the phone is not shipping currently via the carrier’s official website. It should still be seen via retail outlets till the available stock is over. Though the Note puts up a decent show, the second generation smartphone is expected to tag along a faster chipset and improved specifications.

More than anything else, the cancellation of the Samsung Galaxy Note T-Mobile seems to be pushing people more towards the upcoming biggie.
