Samsung Galaxy Note Premium Suite upgrade brings Jelly Bean, Multi-Window and more

The Samsung Galaxy Note which is the company’s primary flagship phablet, will soon be receiving the Premium Suite update which tags along the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform. Now the good news is that the upgraded version will pack various features that were launched with its 5.5-inch sibling.

Even though the Galaxy Note may differ from its successor with respect to the screen size, the processor and the quality of the S Pen, it will now be exposed to similar attributes. The Premium Suite update tags along Multi-Window support and as the name itself suggests, the tool allows users to carry out more than one task on a split-screen view.

There are also certain components in tow that haven’t been included in the similar S3 upgrade, mainly since they revolve around the functions of the S Pen. Users will be saved from the hassle of hunting for a pen to immediately jot down important details when on a call, thanks to Popup Note that will intuitively open as soon as the S Pen is drawn out or if the screen is tapped twice.

Popup Video and Browser make watching a video or surfing the Internet possible, while simultaneously undertaking other tasks. Easy Clip permits selecting sentences by just running the stylus over them as well as cropping any image. Photo Artist offers an array of filters for editing purposes. Also, every picture can now carry hand written messages on the front or the back using Photo Note or Frame.

Even S Note has been bumped up to include fresher effects and templates. The company’s website points out to a Sketch effect that puts forth various color filters. Other key highlights comprise of attributes like handwriting on S Planner and the advantages of the Jelly Bean OS. At the same time, Engadget speaks of Google Now being accessible to phablet owners.

It is hard to say as to when the Samsung Galaxy Note will receive the Premium Suite upgrade. But the day shouldn’t be far away bearing in mind that the company has already revealed on its website all the features the update will be carrying.
