Samsung Galaxy Note 8 makes its India debut

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has made its way to India a couple of weeks after its international debut in New York City. The smartphone costs Rs 67900 in the country and is currently up for pre-orders via Amazon India and Samsung’s offline and online outlets.

All told, Rs 67900 is a pretty steep asking price. Samsung’s trying to make the Galaxy Note 8 more attractive by giving away a free wireless charger and a one-time screen replacement guarantee at Rs 990 for anyone who pre-orders it till September 21.

That’s the same date the Galaxy Note 8 will arrive in stores. The device is being bundled with a Rs 4000 cashback deal applicable only on HDFC credit cards, 448GB of Reliance Jio 4G data, a free Jio Prime subscription, and a free clear case. There’s also a Samsung Upgrade Program in place to hand over an old Note in exchange for discounts.
