A whiff of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 price in Europe has leaked out before the South Korea-based company could even confirm the slate’s existence and apparently it has summed up to €450. What’s more, we are probably advancing towards a set of triplets, because we hear the tablet could be launching in three variants.
From what can be gathered, the Note 8.0 will be seen tagged as GT-N5100, GT-N5110 and GT-N5105. The first name supposedly stands for the Wi-Fi + 3G model and the second could be referring to the Wi-Fi only variant, whereas the last one might be a compilation of Wi-Fi + 3G + LTE.
Going by a report posted on Unwired View, it is quite likely that these models will be lining up to visit North American borders shortly and perhaps, even some of the Asian countries after that. Last month, we had stumbled upon a leak pinpointing towards some of the expected hardware components. It spoke of the 8 incher bringing forth a 1,280 x 800 display and probably a 5MP main camera featuring auto focus.
As rumor has it, the tablet also has a 1.3MP secondary webcam, while it will be rocking the latest version of Android Jelly Bean out of the box. Also, it might be fueled by a quad core processor. Bearing in mind the slab’s name, it tends to get obvious that it will tag along an S Pen. Lastly, a 4,600mAh battery may be fueling the device between charges.
Judging by the leaks in the past, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 could be put up on display at the upcoming MWC 2013. It seems like the Wi-Fi only model will hold comes for of €450, while the retail value of the other two variants is still to be known. If there is any reality to this rumor, the slate might have company while heading to Europe.
