The newest kid on the block that urges prospective users to be creative and expressive, flaunts a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1280 x 720p resolution. A 1.6GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM make it capable of launching multiple applications at the same time, while the slab operates with the help of the Android Jelly Bean platform. It draws power from a 3,100mAh battery and comes in variants with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB memory capacities.

An expansion slot for a microSD card of up to 64GB capacity is also provided for additional storage. The device is equipped with a 1.9MP front-mounted webcam as well as an 8MP primary camera possessing attributes like Buddy Photo Share, Burst Shot, Best Photo, LED flash, auto focus and many more. It is drenched in shades of marble white and titanium grey.

“Last year at IFA, we launched the Galaxy Note, which opened a new category of smart mobile devices. This year, again at IFA, I am proud to announce the Galaxy Note II, which will encourage users to ‘unleash their inner creativity,’” quoted JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.

“With a perfect viewing experience and unique and differentiated features, users can discover information and capture their ideas faster, express thoughts freely and manage tasks more efficiently. For anyone who wants to be creative, expressive and unique, the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be the ideal device, allowing users to live a life extraordinary,” he continued.

And if that’s not enough, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 tags along a horde of other features to ensure smooth multitasking on the move. Air View allows users to preview content by simply hovering the S Pen over an email, video or an image and the Popup Note function opens an S Note pop-up window on the screen to facilitate jotting down notes.

Its Quick Command function should come in handy for instantly accessing frequently visited applications and users can even capture a sequence on their displays with the assistance of Screen Recorder. Accompanied by a longer and thicker S Pen, the slab is embedded with a dedicated button for the stylus. It is also loaded with attributes like Easy Clip for outlining and cropping content as well as Idea Visualizer that stores illustrations by keywords on S Note.
