Even before it could hit markets, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was creating waves all over tech world going by the name of Nexus Prime and the next country in line for this Ice Cream Sandwich treat is the U.K. Clove is bringing the 16GB version of this handset to the region by November.

Needless to say, the Galaxy Nexus is the first device to carry the latest version of the Android operating system, the Ice Cream Sandwich. The hardware and software merged together seem promising of a lip-smacking treat to fans. Some of the interesting specs in terms of the combination include a curvy chassis adorned with an all new interface, NFC enabled Android Beam, Face Unlock and more.

Android Beam brings into use the much talked about NFC technology and allows users to share web pages, YouTube videos, contacts, maps and a lot more by simply tapping together compatible devices. And Face Unlock presents a pretty pleasant way of unlocking this device by just smiling at it.

The key specifications of this device include a 1.2GHz dual core processor, a 4.65 Super AMOLED display, a 5MP rear snapper supported by 1.3MP front facing camera, a 3.5mm audio jack, 1GB RAM, and connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC, as well as Wi-Fi Direct.

U.K based retailer Clove is now offering the device for pre-order. Shipping of the first stock is expected to start in November. However, as far as Clove is dealing with it, customers can only lay hands on the 16GB version of this device or so it seems at present.

Inclusive of VAT, the 16GB version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Clove is priced at £514.80.
