A wedge of Gingerbread and dual SIM capability under one roof is what the all new Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos will bring to potential users. Playing successor to the Galaxy Ace smartphone, it provides the added flexibility of accessing 2 SIM cards with different billing plans.

The front panel of the device is dominated by 3.5-inch HVGA TFT-LCD display proffering images in resolutions of 320 × 480p. Operating on a 832MHz processor, it features a 5MP autofocus camera. The device functions on HSDPA 7.2 connectivity to make for fast downloads and web browsing experiences.

An attribute dubbed ‘Dual SIM always on’ transfers calls from one SIM to the other, regardless of the card being accessed at the moment. Its hidden 1,300mAh battery is touted to provide approximately 390 minutes of talk time and about 410 hours of 3G usage. Carrying 512MB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos offers 3GB user memory that is expandable via a slot provided for a 32GB microSD card. Needless to say, Samsung Social Hub, ChatON and TouchWiz UX stay right in place.

The phone will initially be up for grabs in Russia and it will gradually be rolled out to places like CIS, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Southeast and Southwest Asia as well as China. The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos price and release date details are under wraps at present.
