Touchscreen enthusiasts residing in Canada can now explore an innovative handset from Samsung known as Forever. The handset will be made available via Canadian network carrier Rogers.
This Bluetooth enabled device boasts of a 3-inch WQVGA display. Sporting a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom and supporting AMR / AAC / WMA / MP3 / SMAF audio formats, the touchscreen handset presents a comprehensive multimedia device to Rogers’ subscribers. The handset also supports 3GPP / MPEG4/ H.263 as well as H.264 video formats.
The sleek and compact Samsung handset measures 109.2mm x 52.3mm x 12.6 mm. With a 1000mAh battery, the touchscreen mobile phone weighs about 94 grams and delivers 3 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time. The Samsung Forever supports USB 2.0, WAP and Internet HTML browser. The handset packages 72MB of internal memory and features an expansion slot that permits up to 32GB.
Apparently, the Samsung Forever is retailed for $79.99 on select 3 year plans. The touchscreen device may be purchased for $279.99 without any contract.
