AT&T recently revealed two touchscreen handsets from Samsung, the Flight and the Mythic. Both these handsets feature AT&T Mobile Music with Napster Mobile and eMusic Mobile along with AT&T Navigator.
The Mythic presents a 3.3-inch full touchscreen display that is enhanced by Samsung’s innovative TouchWiz UI. The device offers one-touch access to features including AT&T Mobile TV and social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. With the AT&T Mobile TV, users can enjoy full-length simulcast and time-shifted programming from FLO TV, including content from leading entertainment brands such as CBS Mobile, CNBC, CNN Mobile, Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile, FOX News, MSNBC, MTV, NBC 2Go, Nickelodeon and the movie channel Crackle.
The Samsung Mythic is equipped with a full HTML web browser, QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera and stereo Bluetooth technology. The handset measures 4.49” x 2.06” x 0.5” and weighs about 3.8 oz.
On the other hand, the Samsung Flight is said to be a comprehensive messaging device. The QWERTY device is presented in red and silver color options and offers 2 megapixel camera along with Instant Messaging and Mobile E-mail facilities. Similar to the Mythic, even the Samsung Flight features full HTML web browser and stereo Bluetooth technology. Weighing 4.8 oz, the handset measures 4.17” x 2.2” x 0.5”.
The Samsung Mythic is available for $199.99 after a mail-in rebate. However, Flight is offered for $99.99 after a mail-in rebate. Both Samsung handsets will be available from November 8 via select AT&T retail locations or AT&T’s official website.
