Samsung F839 debuts in China

Samsung F839 Handset For the touchscreen mobile phone users in China, Samsung has recently launched a mid-range handset known as the F839.

According to UnwiredView, the Samsung F839 is the first 3G handset for China Mobile’s high speed 1X EVDO network. The F839 boasts of a 3.2-inch WQVGA 240 × 400 resolution touchscreen TFT display. The handset is equipped with a 3 megapixel camera with digital zoom and 30 fps QVGA recording.

Users can hoard their data owing to the 100MB of user memory that can be expanded up to 8GB via microSD memory card slot. Further, the mobile phone supports DivX video playback, Bluetooth 2.0 as well as USB 2.0. It is equipped with GPS, FM radio, built in browser, e-mail client, Office document viewer and a 1000 mAh battery.

Reportedly, the dimensions of the Samsung handset are 115.1mm x 55mm x 12.9mm and it weighs around 109 grams. Apparently, the F839 is expected to be introduced via China Mobile network.

The pricing and availability details of the F839 are still under wraps. Additionally, there is no official word whether the handset will be offered outside the Chinese subcontinent.
