The mobile market is flooded with business oriented smartphones, however the Kempler & Strauss recently introduced an innovative smartphone that integrates both frameless touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard at the International CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2009, San Diego Convention Center.

The GSM quad-band 3.5G phone is based on the Microsoft Windows Mobile platform. The Billionair 7 supports the EDGE network and HSDPA technology for high-speed wireless broadband access. The 2.5 inch TFT touchscreen display offers QVGA resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The smartphone is optimized for use with the Kempler & Strauss Communicator and is compatible with Bluetooth v2.0 headset and hands-free devices.

The handset sports a 3 megapixel still and video camera with digital zoom as well as a 0.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom positioned on the front of the smartphone for video capture. The QWERTY device is equipped with a power button, reset button, start and end phone call buttons, volume up/down, 5-way navigation buttons, camera button, a backlight control and LED indicators.

The Billionair 7 packages a robust 624Mhz CPU that supports advanced applications and multi-tasking. The mobile phone charged via USB delivers 3.5 hours of voice talk time, 75 minutes of video talk time and about 200 hours of standby time. The package includes an earpiece and a stylus as well as a SIM card slot and micro SD support for up to 8GB.
