Samsung Corby all set to hit the stores

Samsung Corby S3650 Just a few days back, Samsung unveiled the clamshell SCH-W8300 for its South Korean consumers. Now, the company is envisaging the launch of a full-touchscreen phone known as the S3650 Corby.

According to IntoMobile, with the Corby, Samsung would bring a stylish handset loaded with meek features, to the markets. The S3650 sports a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display. The handset provides Quad-band GSM connectivity along with GPRS and EDGE functionalities.

The Samsung handset is supposedly a low cost touchscreen device. However, the mobile phone does not compromise on entertainment and is equipped with FM radio and an MP3 player. The Corby also provides access to YouTube along with social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace. The S3650 is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera.

The dimensions of the mobile phone are 103mm x 57mm x 13 mm and weighs approximately 92 grams. Further, the Samsung phone also offers MicroSD card support.

Rumor has it that the Corby S3650 will be made available for $286. Reportedly, since the device has passed through the FCC, it might hit the U.S. stores soon. Probably, with the French TouchWiz user interface, users can also hope for an early French launch.
