In the light of such concerns, Sagem has introduced a new series of phones in India that lets the user control the operation of the phone even after it has been unlawfully taken away. Pratham Telecom, the national distributor of Sagem in India, has launched the Bleu 453X as a part of their Chota Ustaad series, which comes with the feature of advanced mobile tracker, called Mobile Tracker ka Baap that has been introduced for the first time in India.
The Bleu 453X is a slim device that packs a host of features which includes an MP3 player and the Mobile Tracker. The phone’s most prominent feature is the Mobile tracker which gives the owner of the phone the opportunity to control the phone even if it has been stolen. The owner of the phone can get alerts on the numbers saved in the mobile tracker of the stolen phone instantly; can receive the number of the new SIM that has been put in; switch off the stolen or lost phone just by sending an sms; can divert incoming calls or sms to any chosen number; forward all incoming smses from lost or stolen phone to a number of choice; lock the phone with a unique lock code thus making it inoperable; format Phonebook or sms or To Do stored in the misplaced phone by just sending an sms to the phone.
Besides the mobile tracker, the Bleu 453X phone also has other features like MP3 ringtones, an expandable memory of 2GB, 65,000 color display, 1.5 inch display, a Phonebook that can save up to 500 contacts, video record and playback 3GP \ MP4, sms storage of 500, FM on speaker phone, stereo Bluetooth, GPRS and MMS, and the phone also offers a battery talktime of 120 to 240 minutes and a standby time of 140 to 280 hours.
All these functions are offered at a low price of Rs. 3,299/- thus making it quite affordable.
So, the Bleu 453X introduces a new technology that protects the user’s information even if the phone is stolen and ensures that the user is always in the driver’s seat.
