Roam Data has announced new partnership with U.S. Cellular as a result of which all smartphone consumers of the network carrier will now have access to the m-commerce features of the ROAMpay X service. This benefit is expected to reach over 6 million consumers of U. S. Cellular.
The recently announced ROAMpay X is a revamped version of what was formerly known as the ROAMpay application. This application is of best service to merchants who want to utilize their smartphones as a secure POS terminal.
“ROAMpay X makes it easier for merchants to accept credit cards securely on their mobile phones, and the more convenient one can make the experience, the more revenue merchants will generate We see this as the beginning of an exciting relationship that will drive additional value to mobile merchants using U.S. Cellular devices. The revised version of this app is graced with improved features like better graphics, signature capture, and tip and tax calculations for Android-powered smartphone users. With other devices under review, Roam data has certified smartphones like the BlackBerry Curve 2 8530 and the HTC Merge.
The ROAMpay X service replaced the ROAMpay app late last month and will soon be easily available to all smartphones on the U. S. Cellular network.
