Green with envy on seeing iPhone users enjoy the Rhapsody music-playing app? Well, users can now call a halt to their invidious emotion. According to Engadget iMobile, a new beta version of Rhapsody music service is now available for Android, and it is able to play as a background app.

Reportedly, the music service has recently started pushing out a beta version of its Android – compatible app. The latest offering offers users streaming access to their Rhapsody account from the comfort of their Android handset.

The beta version features all the Rhapsody bells and whistles like album, track, and artist search, or browsing by genres. Apparently, users will need to enable installation from unknown sources on their handset before hitting the link to experience the APK, reveals Engadget Mobile.

Additionally, there’s a seven-day free trial as well if one doesn’t have an account.
