Does drifting, cruising or steering at extremely high speed sound enticing? Ratrod Studio has brought excellent news for users who simply love the excitement of watching high speed racers drift on turns. The company has just launched the latest iPhone game entitled the Drift Mania Championship. The game has been developed jointly by the company and the official Drift Mania Canadian Championship league.

The speed-fuelled video game requires a blend of driving skills, style and showmanship. It incorporates a global online leader board that keeps a check on everyone’s best scores and season point totals. Gamers can confront friends by adding their high scores for each circuit and expose their achievements. Players can augment their overall career score by playing the game often in order to achieve the title of the next Drift Mania world champion. The official Drift Mania website (Leader boards) displays the first 100 positions in each category.

“It was very exciting to collaborate with Ratrod Studio on this project. We have been able to develop this adrenalin-packed drift game that everyone has been waiting for!” remarks Eric Belec (DMCC, President).

The Drift Mania Championship features dazzling 3D graphics coupled with realistic drift controls and a variable throttle system and hydraulic handbrake. The game offers five cars with the ability of personalization, wherein each of them sports its own performance specs. It includes three different circuits and three levels of difficulties. With various level and circuits the game offers something for gamers with varying skill sets.

Drifting is a distinctive Motorsport wherein points are allocated on the basis of four major criteria including speed, line, angle and impact. Each player needs to qualify on the podium in order to unlock different circuits and cars. Racers can choose from three different camera views. Additionally, they can watch highlights of their performance with the replay system. The game would be quite alluring for players who enjoy the art of drifting coupled with high speed, short and swift turns and difficulty faced in the control of the car as the rubber tires burn.

To further enhance the gaming experience, the game soundtrack features bands from the Good Fight Music label including ‘I Am Abomination’ and the latest album from ‘Conditions’. Gamers can listen to their favorite music tracks from their personalized music library. Ratrod Studio is all set to bring out an update of the Mike V: Do or Die – Skateboarding and a free Do or Die Lite version is anticipated to be available by mid July this year.

The Drift Mania Championship will be made available through the App Store by mid July, 2010.
