Prince of Persia Classic HD 01

Ubisoft has decided to release Prince of Persia Classic HD for the iPhone and iPad, after enticing gamers with the Retro and Warrior Within avatars of this game. Marking the third title in this series, the new edition maintains the original story line while adding some more HD action to the journey.

Apart from English, the title will support languages like German, Japanese, Italian, French, and Spanish. The series was originally designed by Jordan Mechner and has sold up to 2.5 million copies since its inception. The fresh version presents an attractive look, which is expected to fully exploit the high definition Retina display offered by Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

This recently released game can be played in three different modes. Of these, the normal mode will help beginners to grasp the concept and understand additional tricks that can help saving the lives of the prince. It allows gamers to learn how to go through the trip, without having to worry about time constraints or death penalties.

The time attack mode needs players to rescue the princess within an hour and will test their skills against time. Survival mode is said to be the most challenging one, where the prince gets only 60 minutes to save the princess by fighting off guards and overcoming obstacles.

The Prince of Persia Classic HD price for iPad is revealed to be £1.99. It can be purchased for the iPhone at a price of £1.49.
