Announced last month, the Prada 3.0 by LG has now emerged with details on specifications. After the Prada phone by LG 1.0 and Prada phone by LG 2.0, this is the third handset to be unveiled through the partnership between the high fashion brand and electronics manufacturer.

Combining style and technology, this sleek jet black smartphone is powered by the Android Gingerbread OS and runs on a 1540mAh battery. It comes equipped with a 4.3-inch 800 x 480p WVGA 800-nit glossy touchscreen and operates on a 1GHz dual core processor. The NOVA high brightness display enables users to enjoy content clearly even under direct sunlight. This freshly launched handset claims to deliver speedy performance and enables users to benefit from the high speed surfing experience provided by dual band Wi-Fi.

The LG smartphone boasts of a trim form factor with a thickness of only 8.5mm and sports the renowned fashion label’s signature Saffiano pattern on its back, all finished in classic black. It is incorporated with LG’s Floating Mass technology that makes the device appear to be thinner than it already is. Embellished with four hardkeys, this handset spells chic with its user interface that features black, grey and white menu and icons.

While the mobile device currently runs on Android Gingerbread, it is scheduled to be upgraded to the Ice Cream Sandwich OS in the near future. It offers users 8GB of internal memory and comes embedded with an 8MP rear facing camera. To complete the stylish look, a range of accessories for this smartphone have also been unveiled. These include a Prada branded cradle and Bluetooth ear set and a variety of designer pouches.

Although details regarding the price and availability of the Prada 3.0 by LG are not yet known, they are expected to be revealed soon.
