The new Powermat wireless charging solution has been made available for the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide. The announcement of this charging system coincides with the releaseof the smartphone.
Users can power their devices via this new solution by replacing the battery cover on it by a Powermat receiver which looks and feels like the actual battery cover. This replacement, to be carried out only once, enables users to ‘drop and charge’ their smartphone on any Powermat for wireless delivery of power. The company believes that with this charging system users don’t have to worry about the tangling of wires or the daily hassle of plugging and unplugging their device.

The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide smartphone runs on Android 2.3 and is powered by a 1.2GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Its highlight is the advanced camera which has a backside illuminated sensor, zero shutter lag and presents users with a feasible replacement for their point-and-shoot cameras.
The Powermat wireless charging solution for the myTouch 4G Slide is available exclusively at T-mobile stores.
