Pilotfish announces innovative Ondo bendable music phone

Ondo Music Phone

These days’ mobile phone manufacturers are constantly trying to develop innovative and conceptual phones that cater to the needs of specific audience. Here’s yet another media-centric concept phone called the Ondo and is designed by Pilotfish, a renowned industrial design firm.

Targeted towards music lovers, the phone is made up of “sensitive flexible materials” with advanced music editing capabilities and lets users edit tracks by just bending and twisting the device. Another notable feature of this device is that its OLED touch-screen display is made from three removable parts called sticks. Each stick can be clipped onto a musical instrument in order to record live sounds. Users can also send these sounds via MMS enabling musicians located at different corner around the globe to jam them together.

The Ondo phone also works as a digital mixer which allows users to create seamless transitions between songs. This is done with an interactive touch function together with an integrated software support. When a user receives a call, the caller’s picture is displayed across the three sticks.

There is no word on its availability and pricing as yet.
