Picpal app lets you take joint selfies, ease the long-distance heartache

Save a life, take a joint selfie with your friends using the Picpal app for Android and Apple iOS devices, and see what each one is up to at the same time. Actually, scratch out that part about saving a life. The application exists simply to help those of you who love clicking pictures of your mugs and posting it on social networks. Yay, now you can make it a collaborative effort.

After snapping a group selfie, you can post it to Picpal and give others a chance to ‘Heart’ it or comment on it. Because what’s the point of uploading the photo to a social networking site if you don’t want friends to validate your existence by ‘liking’ it or dropping in a comment?

The joint selfies may also be shared on Instagram or Facebook. It’s not clear if more social networks will be included in the future. Before posting the collages, users can choose to apply filters, doodles or vignettes. Myndbee is the company behind the app which is being offered on Android and iOS platforms at no cost.
