Per second world calling cards rolled out by Vodafone

Vodafone LogoVodafone Essar has released new world calling cards for their prepaid as well as postpaid users. The company claims that the new calling cards provide the finest per second cost for both STD as well as ISD across all places.

The new Vodafone world calling cards have several plans for different countries. If one has to call US/Canada, they can be charged 4 paisa/second. For calling Gulf, 12 paisa/second gets deducted. For connecting with people in UK/Europe, users have to pay 4 paisa/second (fixed), whereas in mobile, the cost is 12 paisa/second.

Kumar Ramanathan, Chief Marketing Officer, Vodafone Essar, commented, “We are pleased to announce the launch of World Calling Cards with per second charging. A first in the industry, the new Vodafone World Calling Card offers customers greater convenience, good value for money and seamless connectivity with family and friends in India and abroad.”

Indians wanting to call people in China will have to shell out 5 paisa/second. Users wanting to talk to individuals in South East Asian countries will be charged for 6 paisa/second. For calling people in Australia/NZ users, the price is 5 paisa/second (fixed), while in the mobile the cost is 13 paisa/second. For STD calls, users will be charged for 1 paisa/second.
