Available for purchase in black, blue and white, the Panasonic T9 is an entry-level smartphone which the company has released in India without announcing it in a formal manner. You can buy the device through e-commerce portals right now for an affordable price of Rs 3750.

Indiatimes Shopping is the site that’s offering the Panasonic T9 at the aforementioned value, while Snapdeal is selling it for Rs 3949. Saholic is quoting the highest value of Rs 3999. Whatever the exact price of the device, it still remains ultra-affordable, which means its specs would obviously not be something to write home about.

It kicks in dual SIM slots and grabs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. From what we can see through its images, the Panasonic handset seems to have been blessed with the vanilla version of the software, as the Google Now Launcher is clearly visible in the pictures. This is a departure from the manufacturer’s usual practice of placing its own skin on top of the stock Android experience.
