Two new mobile phones are set to be added for France. SFR and Palm declared that the Palm webOS platform could soon be accessible in France. Moreover, Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus phones are scheduled to hit the French market.

Pre Plus features a slider keyboard, a big touchscreen display and a high-performance processor. Users can also receive 16GB of storage for applications and media. Pre Plus is available with the Palm Touchstone Back Cover, so it supports the inductive Touchstone Charging Dock which is sold separately.

Since Pixi Plus is claimed to be the slimmest phone coming out from Palm, it can snugly fit into the pocket. Also the phone boasts of a touchscreen and full keyboard. With the color Palm Pixi Touchstone Back Covers and the Palm Pixi Artist Series Back Covers, which are attuned with the Touchstone Charging Dock, users can easily exchange covers to suit their mood and personal style.

Both phones provide SFR users with more flexibility for accessing Internet with Wi-Fi. Moreover, Palm mobile hotspot, a webOS app that can be downloaded from the Palm App Catalog, facilitates Pre Plus or Pixi Plus to operate as a mobile Wi-Fi router. The two phones encompass the facility to run numerous applications concurrently. Palm Synergy brings details from several places to one location. Support for 3D games and video recording are also present in the devices.

The Palm App Catalog for Europe enables end users to buy applications by means of a credit or debit card. Incredible SFR apps can also be accessible like ‘SFR TV’ to access major TV channels in France on the phone. Moreover, SFR Wi-Fi and SFR Mon Compte allow customers to use their SFR account while on the go.

Both Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus phones would be available from April 27, 2010 on SFR’s online store and on May 11, 2010 in all SFR stores.
