AT&T together with Palm is coming out with a new mobile phone handset known as Palm Centro. This handset was initially launched with Sprint.
This Palm Centro features a colored touch-screen with a QWERTY type keyboard which helps the user to type documents and messages much faster as it is similar to keyboard typing.
This mobile phone allows the user to utilize all the AT&T services which includes voice, text messaging, instant messaging, email and even access to the Web.
The Palm Centro also offers other multimedia features like 1.3 mega-pixel camera, Bluetooth 1.2 wireless connectivity and microSD storage support. It also offers XPress Mail which supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Palm also offers services like Gmail, Windows Live, AOL, Yahoo and others along with email.
The Palm Centro which is being offered by AT&T is available for $99 and comes along with a two years agreement. There is a choice for the customers as they can choose the email and data plan which is for $30 per month.
