The markets are being flooded by manufacturers scrambling to offer different cases to protect the iPhone 4. In its bid to offer a protective solution for the AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4, OtterBox has officially released the Defender series cases.
The case provides protection to the iPhone 4 from scratches, shocks and drops. It encloses the handset in a polycarbonate shell with a built-in screen protector. Sporting a silicone skin-like finishing that covers all plugs and ports, it shields the phone from effects of wear and debris while still enabling easy access to all the functions.
“The Defender Series has been our most popular line of cases for the iPhone 4,” shared OtterBox founder and CEO Curt Richardson. “This opportunity with Verizon will allow us to provide the same quality solution to these new users.”
Additionally, the silicone exterior also offers an improved grip. A holster-style swivel belt clip for better hold on the device also acts as a stand for hands-free media viewing. The inner felt liner of the case functions as a padding for the device. The company will soon present more cases in the Commuter Series, Impact Series and Reflex Series lines of cases.
The Defender series case can be order through the OtterBox official website for $49.95.
