O2 exhibits My O2 iPhone app

My O2 iPhone App iPhone users exhausted with keeping a track of the amount of money spent on their mobile phone can be relieved as O2 has recently unveiled My O2 application for the iPhone. This specifically designed app allows users to effortlessly view the amount they spend on their phones.

The My O2 section of O2’s website offers extensive information on each part of consumer’s account and could already be accessed through SMS and online. This new application brings a user’s account information and makes it attainable in a way particularly acclimated for the iPhone.

“Our customers want to stay in control of how much they spend whenever they like. The My O2 iPhone app allows them to do this with the minimum of fuss,” stated Sally Cowdry, Marketing Director for O2. “We wanted to make this information as easy to view as possible. The My O2 iPhone app has been developed synchronously with Mobile Interactive Group (MIG). Ben Cusack, Group Creative Director at MIG explained, “The My O2 application allows the iPhone customer base to benefit from having details of their account on their handset. To enable ease of integration, MIG designed the app so it can easily be rolled out to other smart phone devices or incorporate additional features in the future.”

iPhone users can also view their traffic particularization, the most recent bill and any Bolt Ons on their account. This feature is enabled by using the My O2 app, both O2 Pay & Go and Pay Monthly.

Users need to possess the internet connectivity in order to access the My O2 app. This app will offer latest billing information available, however may be up to 12 hours behind real time. On the other hand, calls and text messages made while abroad may take significantly longer to appear.

The My O2 app for the iPhone is now made available and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for free.
