Nothing Phone (1) Specs And Price Leak Ahead Of Launch

Nothing Phone (1)

As we look forward to the launch of the Nothing Phone (1) on July 12, it’s obvious that there are multiple leaks giving us a good idea of what to expect from it. We now have a list of specs that the phone might espouse, along with how much it will cost once it’s out.

In case you’re unaware, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei has already confirmed that the device will ship with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chip inside it. And now, leakster Abhishek Yadav is saying that the Phone (1) will pack a 6.55-inch OLED display bearing a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

The leak says that this Nothing handset will feature Gorilla Glass protection on its front as well as its rear surface. Apparently, both the cameras on the back of the device will offer 50MP f/1.8 cameras that can capture 4K visuals at 60fps.

Android 12 will most likely be the OS of choice below the apparently thin layer of Nothing OS. Yadav notes that Nothing Phone (1)’s software will offer custom widgets and no bloatware. And of course, the OS will have a special interface for customizing the LEDs on the back.

Meanwhile, leakster Mukul Sharma has spotted the European pricing of the Nothing Phone (1) on premature Amazon UK listings. €469.99 will likely be the base price of the phone’s 8GB RAM version that offers 128GB of storage.

Two other models of the Nothing Phone (1) will seemingly be sold. The one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will supposedly cost €499.99, while the one with12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage could be made available at €549.99.

As we said, the Nothing Phone (1) will be officially unveiled on June 12. Though, you can expect plenty more details about it to leak ahead of that date.
