Nokia is definitely going the green way to combat pollution, by unveiling eco-friendly or recycled phones. After the Nokia Remade, Nokia reveals its latest concept phone called Eco-Sensor.
It is pleasant to see that Nokia is stepping up with technology that will give it nurturing care to the earth. The Nokia Eco-Sensor is manufactured with eco materials combined with sensors that keep an eye on pollution levels. The phone uses recycled materials such as plant based plastics and 100% recycled steel for its casing.
The phone goes a step forward with pollution control by using an OLED screen to reduce power usage by the phone. The phone also checks the weather information by checking the humidity and Nokia plans a health version as well, which will monitor the heart rate. To add icing to the cake, Nokia has plans of inculcating a solar powered battery as well.
Since it is still a concept, we will have to wait for the dew to settle to know about the pricing and launch date details.
